Bead Trunk Lands In Downtown Urbana, IL

Don't want to deal with the Illinois Marathon this weekend? Don't worry, our Bead Trunk Show Starts This Afternoon. The show will take place April 26, 27 & 28 and May 3, 4, & 5 in our classroom at the shop. Fridays, April 26th and May 3rd, we will stay open until 7pm to allow later shopping. PLEASE NOTE: NO DISCOUNTS allowed on show beads. Trunk show opens on Friday, April 26th @4pm to 7pm Saturday, April 27th from 10am to 5pm Sunday, April 28th from 12noon to 5pm If you cannot make the show the first weekend, IF we have beads left, you can stop by Friday, May 3rd @4pm to 7pm Saturday, May 4th from 10am to 5pm Sunday, May 5th from 12noon to 5pm If you've never participated in a bead trunk show, the concept is pretty simple. Think of a traveling bead show where you can find all sorts of treasures, but for a limited time. Cha Cha Beads will ship a huge selection to our shop. When the show is finished, we return whatever beads remain back to Cha Ch

ChaCha Beads Trunk Show at Beads N Botanicals in downtown Urbana, IL will offer seed beads in Size 15, 11, 11 hex, 10, 8, 8 hex, 6, triangles, bugles, teardrops and squares. ChaCha travelled to Hiroshima, Japan and Murano, Italy to find new and unusual beads in Fancy Finishes and Great Colors to spark your creative imagination! Japanese seed beads are precision cut to enable you to make precise designs in woven beadwork. The newest finishes are permanent metallic and anodized beads. The Italian beads are different when compared to Japanese or Czech bead s. The color you see is the actual color of the glass, not dyed or coated. The Pinks and Purples have real Gold in the glass, causing it to 'strike' different colors when it is made into beads. They are made in small handmade batches, not by machine like the other seed beads, making them unique. The 11th Annual Boneyard Arts Festival Boneyard Arts Festival Events at Beads N Botanicals FEATURED ARTIST: Wynter Harrington Peguero Sculptor, Painter: Masks, sculptures, dragons Freelance Professional Photographer Now living in St. Joseph, IL, born & raised in Phoenix, AZ, Wynter moved to the midwest in 1999 and began taking classes within a few years at Danville Community College, where her sculptures immediately began taking 1st prize honors. Her passion for art and keen eye have also led her into the realm of professional photography, where babies/children and outdoor shoots have become a specialty. With a rich tapestry of Irish and Cherokee Indian heritage, her subject matter and creations are varied and creative, making them excellent collection and decorating pieces for home décor or for gifts.
