Beginner's Kumihimo: The Art of Japanese braiding. Originally used to braid lacing for the Samurais’ armor, today it is a popular jewelry making technique. The literal translation of Kumihimo means the "coming together (kumi) of threads (himo)". It’s fast, easy, and fun! Our Beginner's class shows you how to make the basic round Kumihimo braid.  Level: Beginner – No previous braiding or jewelry making experience required.
