ChaCha travelled to Hiroshima, Japan and Murano, Italy to find new and unusual beads in Fancy Finishes and Great Colors to spark your creative imagination! Japanese seed beads are precision cut to enable you to make precise designs in woven beadwork. The newest finishes are permanent metallic and anodized beads. For example, you will find Size 6 and size 8 beads for your kumihimo necklaces and bracelets in hard-to-find colors and finishes. The Italian beads are different when compared to Japanese or Czech beads. The color you see is the actual color of the glass, not dyed or coated. The Pinks and Purples have real Gold in the glass, causing it to 'strike' different colors when it is made into beads.
